Recycled PET flakes

Post-consumer PET fragments, washed, sized and dried, produced in Kinshasa. These are not pellets: the line has no extruder, no melt filtration and no pelletiser — the flake is a semi-finished input your own line extrudes.

Produced in Kinshasa, with no import freight embedded. No price gap is published on this stream: the import reference has not yet been the subject of a documented market survey, and we do not publish a gap resting on an unverified assumption.

Washed and sized recycled PET flakes, heaped at the line outlet
Washed, sized flake, before extrusion at the converter. Illustration — not a contractual visual.
Food contact — not approved, and will not be sold as such

The line performs a hot wash, not a validated decontamination. TakaPlast flakes are not approved for food contact: they are neither offered, nor sold, nor documented for that use, in any language and on any medium.

The target outlets are fibre, strapping, non-food thermoforming and technical injection.

Status of the published characteristics

The plant is under construction. To date, no production has taken place and no laboratory analysis has been carried out on a TakaPlast product. The characteristics shown on this page are design values: they constitute neither a warranty nor a contractual specification.

The enforceable characteristic of a batch is the one recorded on its certificate of analysis, issued per batch from first production onwards. No delivery takes place without the certificate of analysis for the corresponding batch.

Production at M8, first deliveries at M9, in months elapsed since financing close.
