An industrial operator, not an environmental project
TakaPlast builds and operates, in the eastern outskirts of Kinshasa, a multi-stream plastic waste recovery plant: 80.76 t/day in, four product lines out.
Mono-stream recycling operators already exist in Kinshasa — namely OK Plast and Clean Plast. TakaPlast is therefore not the city’s first recycler: it is its first integrated multi-stream operator, four recovery streams on a single site.
The model is industrial: near-free local feedstock, import-substituting products, margins sustainable without subsidy. Environmental and social impact is the consequence — measured and published, never oversold.
“We speak plainly: numbers, evidence, owned trade-offs. If a product doesn’t exist yet, we write it. If a number is a projection, we label it. That is how you earn an industrial buyer’s trust — and keep it.”
